SAFETY AND HEALTH POLICY
RN Civil Construction is fully committed to providing a safe working environment for all
employees. No endeavor is worthy if it should bring about human suffering through injury, illness
or loss of life. Each day, we should all be guided by a desire to protect ourselves and our fellow
workers from the potentially devastating effects of an injury.
In addition to the pain, stress, and interruption to our lives that an accident can cause, reducing
accidents and injuries provides a safe work place that promotes employee satisfaction, reduces
damage to property and equipment, improves quality of work and reduces direct and indirect costs
of accidents. A good safety record reflects the quality of management, supervision and work
force. It also serves to promote business and thereby contributes to the continuing growth and
success of the company and each employee. Reducing the costs associated with accidents
improves financial performance of not only the company, but of individual employees through
better wages and better benefits.
To achieve this important goal, a safety and health policy has been developed. While the
ultimate success of a safety and health program depends upon the full cooperation of each individual
employee, it is management's responsibility to see that safety and health rules and procedures are
adequate and enforced, and to see that effective training and educational programs are employed to the
greatest advantage.
The Safety and Health Policy will be followed at all levels of the company. The policy will be
continuously monitored and may be modified and improved as needed by company
management.
Safety shall not be sacrificed for productions but rather considered an integral part of quality control,
cost reduction and job efficiency. Every supervisor should be aware of the safety performance
demonstrated by the employees under his/her supervision.
It is the goal of RN Civil Construction to completely eliminate accidents and illnesses related to
work and return each employee to their family and friends at the end of each day – safely!
THINK SAFETY – THE LIFE IT SAVES MAY BE YOURS!
