Project Description

RN Civil self performed 75% of the work including all the earthwork, demolition, concrete, process piping, painting, process equipment. RN Civil designed and implemented and operated a complete bypass pumping system during the renovation of the existing facility. The entire raw sewage flow ranging from 150 gpm to peak hour flow of 2,100 gpm was collected from three incoming collection lines into a temporary  10,000 gallon wetwell. Two electric submersible sewage pumps were installed in the wetwell with lead lag and variable speed control and auto transfer switch for standby electrical power. This system was backed up by a full redundant self priming diesel engine driven pump. The entire existing electrical and process pipe and pumping system from the 50 year old lift station was removed. The existing wetwell structure and influent structure were modified and expanded for additional control and storage. New pumps, piping, protective coatings, process controls, electrical power system were installed.
