Sterling Headworks and Influent Pump Station

This SRF project required extensive dewatering.  The project site was located adjacent to the South Platte River and saw dewatering discharges over 10,000 gpm.

RN updated an existing headworks facility with a new near vertical automatic bar screen, a new grit classifier, and a new make up air unit designed to withstand harsh headworks conditions.

RN constructed a new influent lift station immediately adjacent to the existing headworks facility. Pump line up consisted of 250hp high capacity pumps and 60hp jockey pumps.
