Project Description
RN installed a new headworks facility at an existing wastewater treatment facility. An existing backwash pond was decommissioned and the new headworks facility was installed in the pond footprint.
The project required a new odor control system with associated FRP ductwork and re-lining of an existing EQ pond.
RN installed manual bar screens, mechanical screens, grit pumps, a grit classifier, dewatering press, odor control fans, and electrical upgrades to run the new equipment. The project had thousands of feet of new yard piping, including a new 30″ influent line that required bypass pumping.
